Combine Knorr and water to make broth. Alternately you can just use 2 cups of chicken broth. Mix in tomato paste and add to crockpot.
Add next 8 ingredients and stir to mix well.
Cover and cook on high for 3 ½ - 4 hours or low for 7 – 8 hours.
Mix water and cornstarch in small bowl, stirring until smooth. Stir into stew.
Cook, covered for 30 more minutes or until thickened.
Serve with garlic cheese biscuits.
