 1 ¼ cups margarine, softened
 ¾ cup brown sugar, packed
 ½ cup sugar
 1 egg
 1 tsp vanilla
 1 ½ cups flour
 1 tsp baking soda
 ½ tsp salt
 1 tsp cinnamon
  tsp nutmeg
 3 cups old fashion oats
 1 cup raisins
 1 cup chocolate chips

Heat oven to 375°F.

Cream margarine with sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla.

Stir flour with baking soda, salt and spices; add to creamed mixture, mixing well.

Stir in oats. Fold in raisins and chocolate chips.

Drop by rounded tablespoons on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9-11 min in a convection oven depending on size of cookie. Watch first batch and adjust for your oven. Makes about 4 dozen.
