2 cups shredded cabbage
2 tbsp minced onion (optional)
2 tbsp white vinegar
2 tbsp mayonnaise
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp ground black pepper

Combine onion, white vinegar, mayonnaise, garlic, sugar, black pepper, and salt in a small bowl.

Place cabbage in large bowl. Add dressing a small amount at a time and toss to coat. Do not overdress, you can always add more later.

Cover bowl with plastic wrap and place into refrigerator for one hour before serving. Refrigerate any leftover dressing. Add additional dressing, if needed before serving.

Place a generous portion on each pulled chicken or pulled pork sandwich.
