Yields4 Servings
 1 lb ground beef
 15 oz can tomato sauce
 15 oz can kidney beans (partially drained)
 15 oz can pinto beans (partially drained)
 ½ cup onion, finely chopped
 4 oz can diced green chilies, undrained
 1 stalk celery, diced (optional)
 ½ can petite diced tomatoes, drained
 1 tsp cumin powder
 1 ½ tbsp chili powder
 ¾ tsp black pepper
Stove top

Brown the ground beef, drain off the fat.

In a large pot, combine all ingredients and bring to a simmer over low heat. Note: if cooking on stove top add all the liquid from the beans.

Cook, stirring every 15 minutes for 2 - 3 hours.

Crock Pot (my preferred)

Brown the ground beef, drain off the fat.

Place all ingredients in the crockpot and cook for 8 hours on low.

For the last 30 minutes to an hour, take off the lid and let liquid reduce.

Additions

Serve with sour cream, shredded cheese and fritos. I also like to add some cooked macaroni to my bowl instead of the fritos.
